Partnerships built on people, quality, and sustainability
Origin Amazônia works with carefully selected producers whose practices align with our values of conservation and sustainability. We build close, long-term relationships with these families, providing hands-on support to improve harvesting and post-harvest techniques. This collaboration ensures the production of fine, premium cacao while maintaining the forest and creating better outcomes for local communities.

Working Side by Side
Our approach is highly personal. We stay in constant contact with producers and visit them frequently during the year. Each producer receives at least four dedicated technical assistance visits per year focused on harvest and post-harvest practices. We also provide protective gear, harvesting tools, and co-invest in infrastructure to improve safety and efficiency. This close involvement ensures consistent quality and allows us to export fine cacao that meets premium standards.

Preserving Traditions
Many of the producers we work with have cultivated cacao for generations. Their methods, from floodplain harvesting by canoe to community-shared knowledge, are part of the cultural fabric of the Amazon. We respect and maintain these traditions while ensuring they evolve to meet international standards for quality.

Conservation as the Foundation
We make conservation economically viable by ensuring producers receive higher returns for fine cacao. Families who work with us see that keeping the forest intact provides more value than cutting it down. This direct financial incentive strengthens the link between income, culture, and conservation, making premium cacao a driver of both livelihoods and forest protection.
